Project Overview

Tamnoon is a cybersecurity startup on a mission to simplify cloud security posture management for modern enterprises. In a space where trust is everything and buying cycles are long, the path to growth runs through relationships — not just product features. For Tamnoon's sales and leadership teams, that meant showing up consistently and memorably at the right events: industry conferences, community meetups, partner roundtables, and online webinars where the people who matter in cybersecurity gather, talk, and decide.

As the designer behind Tamnoon's event branding, I was responsible for creating the visual materials that represented the company in these high-stakes environments — both offline and online.

Goals

  • Establish a recognizable and credible visual presence for Tamnoon at cybersecurity industry events, where first impressions directly influence sales conversations

  • Communicate Tamnoon's core value proposition — helping security teams remediate alerts faster — to an audience that deals with alert fatigue every day

  • Drive awareness and curiosity around what Tamnoon does, so that conversations at events go beyond introductions and into genuine interest in the product

  • Create event materials that could flex across formats — from physical booth setups and printed collateral to digital assets for virtual events and social promotion

  • Reflect Tamnoon's positioning as a serious, capable, and approachable player in the cloud security space — not just another vendor

  • Equip the sales and leadership teams with materials that gave them confidence and consistency whenever they were in the room (or on the screen)

Projects

Golf Event - Birdies, Bogeys, and Breaches

A co-hosted golf event with Orca Security, designed to get CISOs and security engineers off the conference floor and into a real conversation.

The landing page needed to do a lot of work: attract the right people (Orca users and CNAPP-curious security leaders), communicate the Tamnoon + Orca partnership at a glance, and drive registrations for just 20 coveted spots. It delivered, pulling in over 80 sign-ups.

The visual direction leaned into the playful tension of the theme: Tamnoon's mascot and Orca's killer whale, side by side on the green, turning a security event into something people actually wanted to attend. The design made the partnership feel natural and the event feel exclusive, the kind of thing you don't want to miss.

Webinar - The CNAPP Journey: 5 Years In, What's Next?

A thought leadership webinar co-hosted with Orca Security and Software Analyst Cyber Research, asking the question every security team was thinking: after five years of CNAPP, why are alerts still winning?

The design leaned authoritative, clean layout, soft technical illustration, and a clear three-logo partnership block that did the talking. 230 sign-ups. 120 live attendees. Strong numbers for a webinar with no venue or perks.

Webinar - The Remediating Ghost Databases Masterclass

A hands-on webinar co-hosted with CYBR, tackling the shadow databases quietly draining cloud budgets and widening attack surfaces.

The dark, moody design was a deliberate departure from the usual corporate webinar aesthetic, ghostly illustrations on deep green made the threat feel visceral and the topic impossible to scroll past. 170 sign-ups, 100+ live attendees.

Online Event: CDR Demo Festival

A free virtual event co-hosted with Latio and CSA, giving security teams an unfiltered look at leading CDR platforms back-to-back, no sales scripts, no fluff.

The design framing did the heavy lifting here. Turning a series of product demos into a festival — with a moody movie theatre aesthetic, illustrated hosts on a couch, and vendor logos displayed like films on a marquee — made something ordinarily dry feel like an event worth clearing your calendar for.

To drive registrations, we designed a set of co-branded social cards so every partner had a ready-to-post asset that extended the event's reach across their own audiences. Same visual language throughout, giving each partner a piece of the stage while keeping Tamnoon's brand consistent across all six assets.

Happy Hours and Meet-ups

Tamnoon's calendar was packed with smaller, high-touch moments too. Happy hours, dinners, rooftop evenings, arcade nights, each one needed an invite-worthy visual, fast.

These assets were designed using a combination of AI-generated imagery and Figma, allowing for quick turnarounds without sacrificing quality or consistency. Every piece, from Cars, Cocktails and Cybersecurity in Manhattan to Cloud Security at its Peak above Hudson Yards, stayed true to Tamnoon's dark, editorial aesthetic while flexing the visual language to fit the venue and vibe.

The result was a steady stream of on-brand event assets that made each occasion feel considered, even when the brief came in the day before.

Impact

Event branding at an early-stage startup is one of the most quietly strategic design functions there is. Every asset — a landing page, a social card, an invite — is a signal that tells the room whether a company is worth taking seriously.

Across webinars, co-hosted happy hours, dinners, and virtual festivals, the work gave Tamnoon a consistent, recognizable presence in the cybersecurity community. Campaigns collectively drove hundreds of registrations, with strong live attendance across every event — numbers that reflect not just good promotion, but design that made people want to show up.

The visual system scaled from high-production webinar pages to same-day event invites, with AI-assisted workflows keeping quality high and turnaround fast. Through it all, Tamnoon showed up looking like a company that belonged in the room — even as a startup competing for attention alongside much bigger names.
